I need help with a title problem!
OK, heres the story. I bought a car from a small dealer by where i live. It needed some work so i said title only, no plates, etc. So he delivers the car the next day. Says the title is in the mail. So i wait and wait and wait....3 months have gone past, still no title. I call the secretary of state office to see if the title has been recieved, and no, it wasn't. They gave me the number for the detectives that deal with that kind of stuff. I called they sent me forms and i filled them out and sent them back. A detective called me, he said that he talked to the dealer and i should be recieving the title in about 1-4weeks. Well it still hasn't come, and i'm getting quite angry. I finally thought screw it, i'll have a new title made. But when i went to have it made, they said that i couldn't do it because the title isn't in my name. And now I DON"T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!! HELP!!!!

Call the dealership. Tell them that they have a title ready for you by the end of the week or you will call the better business bureau and a lawyer.
