Not counting the 385hp 2001 engine and going directly to
the current 02-04' Z06 LS6 engine...

* More aggressive camshaft
* Revised intake valves
* Low restriction intake manifold
* Compression for the LS6 is 10:5.1, LS1 is 10:1.1
* Screenless/designed MAF
* Revised airbox and exhaust.

Both 5.7L or 346 cubic inches. Same bore and stroke.

405hp vs...I'm guessing the last 02's were at 330-335 from the
factory...?Most of that is really airbox and exhaust, that's the
easiest for the factory to as they say...'de-tune' a car.

However plenty of F-body guys have re-cammed and changed
the intake/exhaust and that really opens it up, but the real issue
is not so much horsepower as it is weight. especially for the T/A's.
