NO2 Bottle Left unchecked

My nitrous set up was installed late summer of 03 and I never used it, the bottle is still sitting in the car throughout most of the winter. Is it okay to use this bottle still or is there a danger to leaving it in the cold. Im new to NO2 and it was just sortve a compulsive buy made more for looks than use. Although there could be a need for it sooner or later.

only problem i can forsee with running a nitrous system cold is a lack of pressure in the bottle, causing the system to be somewhat less effective. it wont' be much of a difference. if this motor was carbureted, then adding nitrous would turn the carb into a popsicle, probably. then you wouldn't go anywhere =)

The cold weather will make nitrous too cold to use or turning a carb into a popsicle LoL. Best thing I have heard in a long time. I'm not busting ya guys ballz cause you really wouldn't get the humour unless you dealed with filling nitrous tank for work LoL. Use it your all set you might not have peak performance but you more than fine.

Re: NO2 Bottle Left unchecked

im not exactly sure how nitrous systems work but couldnt you purchase a bottle warmer? or if you have a purge kit, just purge it until your bottle is empty and then fill it back up.

Of course I got a purge kit... That's 50% of the nitrous fun! Lmao. Im prolly gonna get a bottle warmer. I dont plan on using it now in the dead of winter I just wasnt sure if the cold effected the gases inside. It's about 40 degrees average here.

Thanks Guys. Skyline becoming one of the guys I see more often than not.
