first of all i wouldn't go with the zex system. go with nos or nx. i have ridden in cars with zex and cars with nos and there is no comparison. dont get the fogger system. make sure that it is installed by someone who is reputable or if you're doing it yourself you may want to retard your timing and be sure to replace your spark plugs. if done right n20 can be very reliable.

Amen to that. Definately go with a NOS or NX kit, much better quality. Remember: 2 degrees of retarded timing for every 50 hp. So for you, 3 degrees retard.

What is wrong with Zex?...

Zex is like the Play-School version of Nitrous. Where it has a little box that controls everything, some hoses and a bottle. It is the safest system but the worst for tunability or power. They measure their shot at the flywheel. Which means the 75 shot is like 50 hp, 50 shot is like 35, and 35 is like 20. So unless you have the 75 you won't really bbe surprised or amazed. The other kits such as NX or NOS have kits that mix fuel and nitrous at the same time to get an even mixture of nitrous and fuel. They on the other hand measure their shot at the wheels so a 75 shot is 75 hp. If you want nitrous just to have it and be able to putt around town and spray a little then go ahead, It's very safe and almost no way you can really do damage if hooked up right and used right. If you want real power and to be able to really smoke people then get NX, NOS, or even VENOM. Peace

What is NOS?
What is Zex?
Don't laugh I am still learning...
I'm only 13.
I've just finished learning about major differences of Supercharge and Turbo.
Read many sites about drifting...
Want to try it soon.

What is NOS?
What is Zex?
Somebody please tell me.

NOS - made by Holley, featured in Fast&Furious
http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLine/NOS.html

Zex - purple motor eater
www.zex.com

NX - Nitrous Express
www.nitrousexpress.com

Venom - over-priced
www.venomperformance.com

it's also called laughing gas, but the car version has poisons in it; dentists & hospitals use medical grade nitrous oxide, N2O. the trick is that the gas is extra rich in oxygen, O2, but the mixture of nitrogen keeps it stable as not to melt your motor. like in video games, press the turbo button & you shoot faster, but it's called nitrous or juice or spraying. it's also like street pharmaceuticals, the high is only temporary - 10 to 15 seconds.

nitrous, with a properly adjusted amount of fuel to compensate, will not harm your motor.

the only thing would be accelerated wear and tear, but that comes along with anything you do when you increase a motor's output.

i highly recommend NX, available at www.nitrouswarehouse.com

what other systems do is use a controller unit that increase fuel rail pressure to compensate for nitrous injection. some systems use or require you to install a timing control to retard timing for use of nitrous. all of this helps prevent detonation.

NX on the other hand uses a dual port nozzle... you run a line to feed nitrous, and another line directly from your fuel rail to feed the one nozzle. the nozzle atomises the nitrous and fuel together, better preventing uneven fuel/nitrous feeding that can cause hotspots within your combustion chamber. one cylinder may not get as much nitrous, but at least it will get both nitrous AND fuel, preventing lean conditions and detonation. it's very much like running a direct wet manifold setup but with the ease of installing a dry kit. much more reliable gains with NX by design.

Everything except things like a CAI, or a new ignition system, or a new exhaust system.
