ZC clutch Problem!!! HELP ME!!!!!!!!
Alright, I destroyed my clutch and I need a new one fast. I have a ZC tranny and need to know a few things. 1.) how many splines are there? 2.) How big is it in mm? 3.) could I use any d-series clutch? or do I need something really specific? like 88-89 teg clutch or 90-91 Civic si Clutch or what?
Please if anyone knows for sure what I need let me know. I've searched all over the internet and all I've got so far was a headache. I need to know what clutch kit I need asap. My car is stranded about 100 miles from my house right now and I need to get it home soon! Also where should I order the clutch from? I was thinking about putting in a street or racing clutch but I need to know what one first. Luckly my car is safe here at a friends house, but I have to get it back on the road soon! Thanks guys |

Re: ZC clutch Problem!!! HELP ME!!!!!!!!
88 tranny had a 21 spline clutch.
89-91 tranny had a 20 spline-clutch. Use the Civic/CRX Si clutch of the year of your tranny. |

Also, to add to what fourthgenhatch said, if you have an 89, you can get a 90-91 clutch kit for a bit more grip but you also need to get a 90-91 flywheel.
