Re: Stage 3 chip
Sounds like a good buy to me. All the things it offers sounds very intresting.
I would be wearie buying off of ebay, especially electronics. Although the seller seems very reputable. If you intend on modifing your car with a larger turbo and such then i think that the ECU would ultimatly become usless due to the fact that the suport equipment to uphold the upgrades will acomplish the same tasks that this ECU will. But it seems like a good deal and i say go for it. |

Re: Stage 3 chip
This is another ripoff of the widely used TMO chips (www.tmo.com). Jeff something or other is the guy I Would look for. I think his price might be better too. But like the add says, for a 2g you NEED a 95 EPROM ECU (95% of 95s had them). If you are going to take it to that level, you might as well go DSMlink which also requires the EPROM ECU. The AFC and datalogger will cost nearly as much (within a hundred or so) and DSMlink is the best thing going for 2Gs. For 1G, a chip like this is a very necessary upgrade, even with a turbo as small as a 16g
![]() And let us keep in mind that Bushur ran 7 second ETs at over 170 mph on a stock mitsubishi ECU, with a TMO "stage 3" chip and VPC Mitsu ECUs are very good at what they do.
