kill the rattle

i want to completely get rid of rattle in my 1991 honda civic hatchback. hatchbacks don't rattle much, and right now my car doesn't rattle. i have a 400 watt audiobahn amp and a 10" JL W3, but i'm going to upgrade to probably a image dynamics MAX 10" sub which will hit significantly harder and i'm going to get a alphasonik amp. i have a place that's going to dynamat everything for fairly cheap. well, i hear that dynamating doesn't gaurantee it won't rattle, but it will rattle a lot less. on top of placing dynamat everywhere, are there any other measures i could take? thanks.

Re: kill the rattle

tighten every body bolt you can find. if you think it MIGHT rattle, it will.

Re: kill the rattle

unusualcivic, that has to be the weirdest response I have heard to the rattle problem yet. Lakers, get yourself a few layers of the dynamat done. If that doesn't suit you, get some of the liquid deadener and place it in those areas. And if even then it doesn't suit you, tear that part out of your car, lol.

Re: kill the rattle

as dumb as it sounds, on older hondas a good portion of rattling can be prevented by tightening bolts on panels, the hatch mechanism etc. etc. a lot of things can get vibrated loose after 13 years of use.

Re: kill the rattle

I guess... Still sounds weird though. That's why my amp rattles....

Re: kill the rattle

1 You Should Install A Amp That Has Rca Wires That Keep The Music Clear Then Use Dynamat All Over Your Car
