Finally found out the rattle in the front is coming from. Hope this helps others.
Well basic after replace just about the entire front end of the car, I finally found the problem. It was the axles.
Being that the 2001 axles are plunger type. It started to wear itself out and going into itself to much and hit the other parts and made the rattle. I found this out when I was changing the strut mounts. With all the parts off the hub it was easy to shake it. When I start shaking I could hear a metal tapping so I did it harder and there it was. Being that the funds was low I couldn't go out and buy the axles, but planning on replacing them when my tax money comes in. But that is what I founded. Hope this helps other Granny owners. |
