dome light-after mali is turned off does the light goes on?

I have a 99 malibu ls and i could've swore the dome light goes on after the car is off the minute u turn the ingnition off, and i think a fuse must've burned out...or does it not come on but only when u open the door? Also has anyone w/ an ls wonder why the lights in the mirroe don't go on at all w/the dome light, like how cheapo r they they can't wire it together

my light goes on when i turn car off not sure if when take key out but thats if you have the switch set to "door" it takes a minute to go off but it will.. if your leave light on (turn it on and walk away) it should go out in about 20 minutes

yea, but if i pull the key out of the ignition it doesn't light up right away, so maybe a senor's going?
