When ignition is turn off does the radio turn off or does it stay on until timer turns off or when the door is open, because the power windows still has power until i open the door or timer times out.
does anyone have a wiring diagram for this?

that is a standard feature on many vehicles, is the vehicle recently purchased?

Re: When ignition is turned off does the radio stay's on for a while
I realize you posted the model year of your Mountaineer in the other post regarding the autolocks. For what it's worth though, you should get in the habit of providing the relevant vehicle information in all threads. In this case, the model year is of importance.
The accessory delay feature you are talking about is standard, and sounds like it's working properly. The timer is about 45 seconds if I remember correctly. -Rod |

Re: When ignition is turned off does the radio stay's on for a while
The vehicle is a 99 mountaineer, it is used truck since the factory radio didn't work I installed a radio in it, that's why I was wondering if the radio also stay's on for a while.
