Exclamation Help, Intake Gone Wrong!

I just got an intake for my 03 cavalier ecotec. I have everything in but I have one black line that is just hanging in place and I am thinking of drilling a whole in the plastic part of the intake. Should I and if so/not what should I do next. Lights in my car came on. (Theft, check gages, and a wrench w/ a repair. HELP ME I DONT HAVE ANY GUIDE TO FIX THIS!

Re: Help, Intake Gone Wrong!

i dont know much about the ecotec. but i dont think its that much differnt then the ld9 and older quads. but the quads dont have a mass airflow meter. there should be one wire that goes into the intake right around were the filter is thats the AIT (air intake temp) so your going to have to drill a hole in the intake and get a rubber gromit and put it on the hole then plug the AIT in. the best thing to do is to look at your old intake that you took out and see where all the holes are on it.
