ok. this morning truck started fine. went to my girlfriend's place for about an hour, and when i went to start it back up, it wouldn't. thought it might be due to the fact that i have a tendency to let my gas get a litlle low
so i went and put about 4 gallons into it. no luck, still wont start. so now i'm stuck. should i check the fuel filter and pump? any help would be great.

Re: My truck wont start
First you need to figure out if it is fuel, spark or air. You need all 3 to run. If you don't have a fuel pressure gauge, then you can spray a little starter fluid into the throttle body. If it starts for a second, then you are not getting fuel.
If it does not start, check to see if you are getting a spark. Good luck. //2000CAYukon |

thanks for the reply. well, i don't have any fuel pressure. filter is clean. fuel pump relay is good. pump is getting correct voltage. guess i'll be replacing the pump.

Re: My truck wont start
If you can't hear the pump whine when the key is first turned on, then the pump is probably smoked.
