Do I really need new ignition parts?

I have a 98 Gt 2v, It is now at AMS getting a new Short Block, (stge 2) Heads, J&E pistons, killer Intake, Billet Steel crank, Manley rods, pullies, and my Vortec Supercharger and a new Inter cooler (Plus new Alum Drv shaft, Axels, and New posi) ............... My question is---

Are the stock Ignition components sufficient for now to get good performance??? (I got some Ford Racing ignition wires though)
The shop says I don't need "new" stuff, but wasn't sure.......??
I was looking at MSD parts and there prices seem reasonable......My problem as always is $$, I spent a ton on this new mod and want it to be right, but can't afford the ignition right now...lol

Wether you need it or not depends on what kinda boost your gonna run, the CR with those pistons etc.., But if I just spent several G's on billet crank, stage II heads, je pistons, S/C, I would sure as hell come up with some more money for a quality ignition system because on a built motor they become more of a safety item for the engine than just a performance item.
