Motor trend says 9.8, which is commendable
Car and Driver says its 11.3?

if you read Car and Driver's articles, they have a strong bias against that car, so I dont know if i can trust that value. Motor trend's 9.8 is much closer to Toyota's estimated 10.1, and also the 2001-2003 Prius's 0-60 was also lower than Toyota's estimate. So.. i dunno? Ill go get one later this year and test it at a drag strip

its wheels are 185/65R-15 all-season Goodyear Integrity
i wonder if you can change to 195
and i wonder if that will affect the mpg/0-60

To get fair quotes and ubiased go to www.Edmunds.com, keep in mind this address: www.robertfarago.com, he told he will do test in full
detail.

In press I have seen, they claimed 11sec.

German DSF auto show drove one and claimed 10.5,
While I hear production models for Europe (never to come) will go flat 10seconds, so...

Tires here are allready set to 55-16"

To see Euro size and wheels go to : http://www.toyota.de/showroom/prius2003/gallery.html

It is a German site because it seems they will sign for more orders then others in Europe at the moment.

But because of this great demand in US (thank god for that) it will wait for sure.

There is also a rumor a very serious one from Toyota
that there might be same drive of Prius packed in
version of Celica.

Go for 1024 size

Well, I've heard from German dealer that spoke with Toyota engineer from Japan.

These people are very open and listen to any suggestion, be this from bystander on show, dealer or anyone else for that matter.

So one of the high placed people from industry suggested that this is great achievement for world of environment and automotive world and no doubt this will sell great, but…..

BUT,….US land of cabrio and coupes would be silent of this no matter how clean it is,and they need to offer same technology in sexy body like MR2 or Celica.

Not much further Toyota presented concept CSS (I hope you have seen the same) complete functional sport roadster (well, sort of) and using partly Prius technology.

Recently there was a rumor from present sport line of Toyota, Celica is prime candidate for such transfer, but, some modifications obviously would take place.
As for your question, new Celica alone is more then adept with both space and technology to take every option from Prius.

But will this be postponed transfer in 2-3 next generations or next year it is hard to say,but ,overwhelming sale success of new Prius will certainly be least instrumental in making such
decision
