Cool 0-100-0 Enzo rules!

Latest Road and Track issue has a 0-100-0 competition, the Enzo achieved it in 11.7 seconds! No other supercar is even close!

I figured the LM would be in there close, the base F1 is slower, I think around the 14 second range. Was that test measured with radar or a test wheel?

I have no clue, I don't remember them mentioning anything about it.

I just read this article, and I have to say, I am impressed most by the comparison to the motorcycle. It's a pretty damn impressive for a 4 wheeled vehicle that weighs in at 3400 lbs compared to a 2 wheel vehicle that weighs in at only 538 lbs.
Here are the numbers (speeds are in MPH):

Ferrari Enzo:
0-100: 6.9 sec
Transition: 0.8 sec
100-0: 4.0 sec
TOTAL: 11.7 sec

Kawasaki ZX-9R:
0-100: 7.2 sec
Transition: NA
100-0: 4.2 sec
TOTAL: 11.5 sec

Distances:

Ferrari Enzo:
0-100: 557 ft.
Transition: 122 ft.
100-0: 275 ft.
TOTAL: 954 ft.

Kawasaki ZX-9R:
0-100: 635 ft.
Transition: NA
100-0: 320 ft.
TOTAL: 955 ft.

Who races 0-100-0 anyway?

Let's look at just the 0-100 part of that... the Saleen S7's 0-100 of 8.1sec is RIGHT behind the Enzo's 0-100 of 6.9 sec. (that's 1.2 sec different... I'd say that's pretty close.) Who really cares about the 100-0 part of that deal.

NOW LET'S LOOK at the Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa

0-100 of only 5.3 sec trumps even the Kawasaki ZX-9R's 7.2 0-100.

But you know what's really laughable? The Hayabusa is only TEN GRAND. Go ahead and shell out the almost FIVE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS for your Enzo... I'll get a Hayabusa and still blow you out of the water off the line. (for less than pennies on the dollar).

No shit? Did you think that up yourself? Of course almost any bike is going to be close or faster. Everyone knows that. You don't even have to know anything about anything to know that. The fact that a car is even comparable to a bike is a feat in itself. Honestly, I would rather drive an Enzo then ride a busa (plus there are so many other, better bikes then a busa). Don't get me wrong, I love bikes. I plan on owning one in the near future. But everything isn't just about pure speed.

oh geez, you show your ignorance right off the bat. 1.2 seconds to 100 mph is an incredibly large gap. Take your crotch rocket. I think you're the only sane person in the world that feels this way.
