How do you know they were pulled over for speeding and not something else?

Re: how the hell...

there is nothing going wrong with the flow of the freeway even if its like 5-10 mph above posted speedlimit...as long as everybody is going that speed (i think...thats how i noticed it) he couldve been pulled over for something else...lights for example.

uuuummmmm......ever driven on I-95? The speed limit is 75, but even the semis go at least 95 on that highway.

thats like 20 mph over the posted limit. i usually try to stay within 10 mph when going with the flow...15 mph max. if they go too fast for me...i just stay on the slower lanes doin more or less 10 mph above speed limit.

What I meant was, even the slowest moving cars, which are usually the semis, and are in the slow lane, are goin at least 95. Thats just on the stretch from where I get on in NC most of the way down towards Myrtle Beach, SC. I dont know what its like on other parts, but that type of speed has been my experience on that highway.

Or maybe the cop was interested in buying a used metro so he decided to stop the guy and have a look

wow, what state is that in? No need to be dogging on the metro... they can get up to 100. Of corse it takes a longer that our patients can take, but it gets there...
