Headlights plastic is cloudy: Any fixes?
On my 95 explorer, the "plastic" headlights and corner lights has become "cloudy", kind of a yellow film.
Is there a product out there that fixes that? Thanks |

You can spend your life trying to fix this. I just bought Taiwan replacements. Brand was Eagle Eyes for about $38 and they were good quality compared to other replacement parts. Even came with new lamps. Makes a great change in appearance. Shop around for a local supplier.

Yes there is a fix.....You can wet sand them with 1000 grit paper then 1200 grit and then spray some clear on them...Just krylon in a can will work..Used to do this on Mustang GT headlights. They look like new when done right.
Hope this helps.

I acually had a friend who used 409 on it. Didn't work perfectly, but it really did something.
