Headlight plastic Fogging Up

We have a 98 Buick Park Avenue, and I am starting to notice the so called clear plastic of the headlight assembly starting to fog up or looks like it is not so clear anymore.
Is there a cure for this, of some kind of cleaning method to prevent it from getting worse? It is on the drivers side the most.
Joe

yes there is, 3M is making a "plastic polish" specifically designed for this. You need to get the polish, and a drill, as well a polish pad out of foam that you can attach to the electric drill. Apply the polish onto the pad and go...
Just watch that you don't go over the lens and hit painted areas. You will also get a feel for the speed of the drill, and notice how the lens gets clearer. You can also use some heavier rubbing compound, but the 3m works great.I bring old lenses front and rear to almost new condition, believe me it works!
It is part nr. 051131, 3m Plastic polish, 8fl.oz.

Have fun!
