Timing Belt Tension?
Hi,
I already took my head off and replaced the head gasket. Anyways, When i took the timing belt off I just marked it with white-out and put it back on. But how tight should the belt be? I loosend the adjusting bolt to put it back on the cam. Then I tightend it back up. But the belt doesnt feel as tight as when I first had it on b4 i loosened it. I find that by moving the afjusting pulley you acn loosen the belt but how do you get it tighter? Thanks

make sure that before you tighten the tensioner, turn the engine over manually about 1/4 turn, counter clockwise, judging by the cam sprocket's position.
