The older 80's celicas are they worth buying and putting money into..can there be ne thing done to them?

absolutely, contrary to what many think, there are quite a few things that can be done with the rwd Celicas. I haven't started the work on my 85 GTS yet, but I have many plans. If you wanna see what I have for now www.geocities.com/defvaynegts/carlist its hard to find parts for them, except for www.lcengineering.com but they can be pricey. Also, this gentleman has many plans for his 83 Celica www.celica-gts.com . A lotta parts for these cars come from other cars or have to be custom made. So sum it up, they can be quite fast, at only an average of 2600-2700 lbs (as opposed to, say, the Nissan 240sx 2900 lbs) but parts can run you some cash flow. But Im up for the challenge
