Are these not popular??

I've really through the forums, and noticed that alot of the postings are not about Underbody Kits.. I know I'm a total beginner when it comes to auto moding, but, Are they just not popular amoung modders? Just a question...

Body kits? Yeah, they're still very popular. But the styles have changed alot since the stupid Fast and the Furious days. lol Things are alot cleaner and have alot of JDM influence

Re: Are these not popular??

They are also, incredibly expensive to buy and have installed by a shop.

For the same price of a body kit and installation, you could get Tein Coilovers and install them yourself. Hell, you could get a Brembo Big Brake Kit with 4-piston calipers. And that's just using the price I was quoted at a shop, not including painting! You could easily spend over $2000 to have a body kit painted and mounted on your car.

Re: Are these not popular??

i thought he was talking about underbody neon kits?

i think that NEONS are not popular cause you'll get your ass pulled over if you have them on while driving, and it's lame having them on while parking

Re: Are these not popular??

if you're talking about underbody NEON kits... they're not popular because they're stupid to have. We drive cars.. not UFOs.

they are illegal here in Cali. I see them occationally, but they're running the risk of getting fined just wanting to look cool. If its blue ground lights.. its a double fine since you're also not allowed to have blue lights on your car.

Re: Are these not popular??

Oh.. and at it does look good if the car is parked... but only at shows. It looks good when its dark, the lights are set up just right so the light spreads evenly, and they especially if they have a smoke/fog machine under the car too.
