E-brake light

My e brake light stays on solid. I have changed both cables but still on.
Any one have any sugestions?

well i dont know what year your truck is so hears some ideas for you. there might be a sensor for the position of the e-brake lever. it might have malfunctioned. it near the lever. there also is a sensor on your brake proportioning valve or brake bias controler it could of malfunctioned also. this may sound stupid but have u checked your break fluid it could be low that will cause that light to come on but only if it is really low. hope some of these ideas help u.
