CRX motor question?

maybe u guys can help me out with this question...i am looking to buy this 92' Civic HB si..with a B16 motor the JDM CRX motor..but he says the Vtec doesnt work..and what he told me is..i just need to get a new Vtec head to work. he also said..he been driving the car for a year almost with that motor and had no problems..but..if a motor with a busted vtec head...shouldnt the motor be fuc*ed up or no? see it thought the problem could have jsut been he forgot to get a new ECU..but what you guys think? the JDM CRX motor with a busted head..motor messed up? i wasnt sure if i was to put this up in the CRX section or the EG civic section..so since it was the motor..i posted it here..sorry if i post it at the wrong place..im still new to this forum..well tell me what you think about the motor..thanks!

a busted head like how? like vtec wont activate? need more details. also b16s came from del sols, integras, and civic hbs. you should really try to find out more about the car, if he says you need to buy a new head then it probably isnt drivable. ask him who did his swap and what is exactly wrong with it.
