JDM CRX motor?

hey the JDM CRX SIR motor..the one that is 1.6 liter 160hp DOHC VTEC...where does it redline at? im not sure if i got the correct specs written down..but if im wrong plz correct me..but yes where does that motor redline? thanks

wow..r u sure? thats a high redline..even the GSR integra motor dont redline close to that. how aure are you?

I've got one in my 4dr with a PR3 ecu and it will rev to 8200 and then a little after that the fuel cut will kick in.

ya red lines at 8200... diff if it was a usdm motor

maybe u guys can help me out with this question...i am looking to buy this 92' Civic HB si..with a B16 motor the JDM CRX motor..but he says the Vtec doesnt work..and what he told me is..i just need to get a new Vtec head to work. he also said..he been driving the car for a year almost with that motor and had no problems..but..if a motor with a busted vtec head...shouldnt the motor be fuc*ed up or no? see it thought the problem could have jsut been he forgot to get a new ECU..but what you guys think? the JDM CRX motor with a busted head..motor messed up?
