Re: Question: Veilside Skyline GT-R

I'm 99% sure it has engine, but yes you need to cut off original bonnet to fit Veilside one.

Well the cut bonet isn't a problem, but that just sound weird.. a bonnet that don't open that cover a full detail engin euh?

Will ask the store.. look to be a great kit

There is a good looking, but simplified engine with the kit. You will need to cut the bonnet, but it's an easy cut with the back of a scalpel blade. A built the GT wing version, and you had to cut the bonnet because it came with a different optional one (if you see what I mean). All in all not a bad kit, there are some photos of mine on here some where, it's light gun metal, and a gold one that somebody built at the same time.

BTW - just ordered the Fujimi version, any one built that one?

Re: Question: Veilside Skyline GT-R

It does have engine detail. I just got that same kit from jocwlaw last night. You do have to cut the plain hood off the body and fit the aero bonnet onto the body thus showing off the engine (also per instructions). Nice kit and nice wheels.
