Hi,
My 93" Buick Lesabre is dead. I pop in the key and turn to start but doesnt even turn over or "click". The dash has power and lights up, but nothing else. I closed the connection on the cylinoid and the starter works and turned so i tried to by-pass the ignition (putting the key in the engine on position) but the engine would not take over the task of running the engine. I dont kno wether the coil pack is dead and prevents the starter from getting power or what. This is the first time working on a Buick so just about any suggestion concerning this issue would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: WOnt even turn over "HELP"
These seemingly connected problems point to one system. That is the Theft Deterrent. Typically, an engine will start if the starter will not turn it. Conversely, an engine may not start if the starter will tiurn it. The factory theft deterrent operates both on the starter circuit and the run circuits, affecting starting as well as running. Ray
