engine swaping for oz lancer

Does anyone know if it's possible to fit an Evo VII engine into a stock 2002 Lancer?

yes it is possible to put a 4g63 engine from an evo 7 into your '02 lancer. it costs a bit of money, but is well worth it. check out some of the other treads on similar topics for more info you might find helpful.

Re: engine swaping for oz lancer

I hear that a 4G63 and 4G93 are both on the wrong sides of the car unless the US version to AUS versions are different. The gearboxs in AUS are on the Passenger side....

Re: engine swaping for oz lancer

It also depends on the mounting side of the motor... Most of the engines avaliable are LH Mounted but most new Lancers need RH mounted... EVO 7 packages will fit...
