F!!K Timing Chain Broke AGAIN
4 months after I replaced my timing chain, it broke again. The tensioner got stuck, broke my chain and bent my valvs again. F!!!K the Rodeo. I only have 70,000 miles in it. My fuel sending unit is also broken

Tom, there hasn't been a rodeo built with a timing chain since 1992 (GM 3.1L V6) I assume you have the 2.2L 4cyl in your 1999 since you crashed your valves. None of the 3.2L V6's are interference engines. Isuzu put out a TSB for the 1998-2003 2.2L to make sure to change out the timing belt every 60Kmi. Sorry to hear about that man! That motor is toast. I had heard that dealers keep 2.2's in stock for this very reason.

Yes my engine is a 2.2L 4 cyl. Mfg covers only up to 60K miles. The first time it broke at 65K miles was my fault. I should have changed it. This second time at 70K is what pissed me off. The chain jumped and bent my valves again
After this I have to fix my damn fuel sending unit
