Re: How to drift an Rsx

I can't watch it for some odd reason, but I'll assume it has something to do with plastic McDonalds trays. Hey, if they pointed the drivetrain in the right direction, Honda would own all of us/we'd all own a Honda.

and that wouldn't have anything to do with the price tag... would it?

5000 for a 240, 800 for LSD, and you're drifting.

second mortgage on your house for an s2k, and you're drifting.

gee, i wonder why we buy other cars...

Re: How to drift an Rsx

you know what I mean. A rear wheel drive civic? That would be great. Oh wait, they switched to McPherson struts... I keep forgeting about that. Yeah, Honda screwed up with the new civic. The interior is awesome though, love that shifter.

yeah i know what you meant...

btw i don't think that going with a macpherson strut...and i presume a multilink in the rear is that bad if setup properly...true on the paper the doble wishbone setup should be the best...and its used by many high end cars and in F1....but many porsche use the mcpherson strup and multilink combo...and lets not forget the evo with the same setup(inverted strut though)

Porsche should have used double wishbones, but they started on their production cars such as the 911, 914 and the 924/944 with suspension based on the 356, which was based on the principles of the beet suspension. Porsche evolved this suspension superbly, but it's still a bad design.

Note all of the Porsche prototype cars have been using double wishbones with inboard springs and shocks for quite some time.

well i did say that the double wishbone is a better design when pushed to the max....but that IMO does not make the mcperson front multi back a bad setup....the 911 setup is proof of that....if it would've been a bad setup not even porsche could've made the 911 handle so good

also many other cars use this setup....like the evo for example and that is another handling legend
