crank snout hub leaking oil?
My son-in law has an 82 cadillac fleetwood with a 4100 engine. The crank snout hub is leaking oil. Is there an O-ring or some type of seal, other than the timing cover seal that would allow this?
 Any help on this would be appreciated.

Front crank seal is the only seal there. If a new seal don,t fix it you may be able to find a sleeve to fit over the crank shaft end. Aftermarket part stores sell these. What they do is minimize the clearance between crank and seal.
