Question Radiator Drain Plug Removal

Is there a special tool to remove the drain plug on a 99 Chevy Blazer? If so where can I get one.......the Chevrolet Parts place said that they do not carry one, If not what would I use? The plug is sheared off on2 ends making it impossible to turn out. As you can imagine, I need to flush my system. Thanks Kebo

Re: Radiator Drain Plug Removal

if its the same as my 97, a 1/4" ratchet fits in it perfectly, really is a nice system...but took me a lil while to figure out as well.

Sears

Try Sears. They have the bolt out system. They actually work pretty good and they do have one in 1/4". You do have to buy a set that is around $20.
