Battery Replacement
Im thinking of getting an Optima battery. im guessing all that has to be done is
1 remove old batt. 2 wait a minute or so to reset ECU (i recently put in a high flow filter w/o resetting) 3 put in new one 4 reconnect terminals anything else, especially something i could clean the terminals with or put something on them to prevent corrosion?

Re: Battery Replacement
get a battery relocater kit and put the battery in the truck/hatch.
with the optima, you don't have to worry about gasses, and when it's inside, there is little to no corrosion.

Re: Battery Replacement
The ECU will loose all information as fast as the battery is disconnected. This should always be avoided if possible.

Re: Battery Replacement
why is that?
wouldn't the ECU get all that info back when you start the car up again?
