Just finished a big project

Here's the car

She's a '76 that had a stock engine (305), tranny, carb, intake, exhaust, air filter, driveshaft, starter, fan, and water pump - This car was rated 140hp at 2800rpm!!!

Not anymore.

I dropped a 350 SB with new lifters and an edelbrock performer cam, a rebuilt TH350, a holley 600cfm, an edelbrock performer intake, edelbrock pro-flo air filter (these things are beautiful for 20 bucks) a mini starter, and a moroso water pump

I still have the stock 2.73's (non-posi) but I like the way they ride - down the road I might get a 12-bolt, any ideas?

Anyway, she sounds great and runs beautifully - the suspension will be the next thing I do - I just ordered four Edelbrock IAS shocks (the inertia ones) from Jegs - has anyone used these? They're supposedly the next best thing to air or hydraulics but that's only what I've heard. Also, I'm replacing the brakes and making it 4-wheel disc

I'm in the NYC area and would like to get this dyno'd but I don't know anywhere that does it...I'll post the engine pics as soon as I clean up the wires and everything

What do you guys think?

Re: Just finished a big project

sounds great man, and good call on the IAS shocks, they were developed from the tech used in shocks at the lemas racing seriese. and yeah the 2.73 are nice, but 3.23's dont hurt the milage that much, and improove the acceleration noticably. as far as the 12 bolt, whatever suits your needs man nice project though. i wish mine was done lol.

Re: Just finished a big project

Nice project and I have to say ditto with IROC 3.23's lot more fun..
Now if it was my car put the spoiler on it. those cars without the spoiler look odd to me.
But still a nice ride

Very clean! Nice work, though I do agree with Vlad I prefer the camaros to have factory spoilers on them but not a big deal.

Which 3.23's would you guys recommend?

As for the whole spoiler issue, the body is the last thing I will put money into - I will most likely put one on
