European Accords?

Does anyone know why the European Accord is way different than the USA Accord?? The Euro Accord looks like the TSX.

LOL the Euro-R is practically the TSX. In Japan they don't have Acura, so the RSX is the Honda Integra Type R and the TSX is the Honda Accord Euro-R.

Or atleast this is my understanding of it.

You can pretty much count on the US always getting the watered down versions of whatever Japan and Europe have from Honda. Same goes with most other companies. United States always gets the poo cars.

Re: European Accords?

Here in the US? I don't believe the Inspire has an equivalent in the US. From what I've heard, in the past it went Accord EX, Accord V6, Accord Inspire. So the Inspire was supposedly the top-of-the-line Accord model. The closest you'll get is probably an Accord Coupe tricked out with all the options possible.

IMO that pic of the Inspire makes it look like a Mercedes SLK manufactured by Honda =P Probably just the angle though.

you noticed that too?!?!

if you notice it...there are the base models of other countries have the VTEC...the US does not (am reffering to the civics)

and yes...the euro accord is the acura tsx. a lot of cars in the US get renamed or rebadge when it comes into production in the US. just like the rsx from honda integra to acura rsx, nsx from honda nsx to acura nsx, or the toyota altezza (IS300 for lexus).
