I didn't know that there was more than one version.
I guess all of them.

Another thing: Was a BMW M3 ever produced?

I am sure I've seen Cobra kits before, but at the moment, I can't find any...

Don't know for sure about the M3. Not the new one, but maybe the older ones.

i hope there is a cobra 427 with full engine detail!!!

but ofcourse i would prefer a 1:1 scale version with working metal parts..........

also i want an e30 M3

They've been kitted in every scale from 1/43 to 1/16
Monogram 1/43 289 w/engine & photo etch parts kit# 2044
Monogram 1/32 427 snap kit (but very nice) kit #1097
AMT/ESCI 1/16 427 KIT #6422
AMT 1/25 289 reissued 5 times kit #s T414,PK4174,PK4182,2170,6587
it was reissued 7 times in 1964 kit #s2170,2370,2953,6587,PK4182
T313,T414 some #s are repeated
MONOGRAM 1/24 "STREET" 427 KIT# 2798
MONOGRAM 1/24 SHELBY 427 COMP KIT# 2764 molded in
METAL FLAKE BLUE
REVELL recently reissued the 427 1/24 twice as a USRRC comp car with
prepainted figures of "ol Shel" and Ken Miles included kit # 85-4149
and a drag version called Baldwin-Motion Drag Cobra,this one has a
hard top(the only one) kit#85-7664

This is just plastic kits it's also been done in diecast in every scale also !

Just about everything I could find was die-cast. Some were real nice, but not what I was looking for.

Someone also put out a resin kit of the Daytona Coupe, but I bet it's real hard to find, not to mention expensive.

Gunze did a COBRA DAYTONA COUPE kit w/no engine very pricey in the US but I heard Gunze reissued it in Europe but none made it here.

R & D Unique has a resin DAYTONA Supercoupe that needs a lot of work
to make work

Creative Masters/Revell has a gorgeous 1/20 Cobra SC
EXOTO has a 289 they just released in 1/18
