Re: What next?
Save the money on the spoon bar, and get something just as good, but cheaper.
Rear speaker mounts can be purchased at the dealer for like $40 |

Re: What next?
No, the ST rear mounts to the lower shock mounts unlike the Si bar that mounts to special holes in the LCA's. Lower rear tie is a good idea with a large rear bar.
Jeg's has the rear only for $100 or so The open hole on the top of LCA is for the stock rear sway. For the ST rear install you must remove the lower shock bolt & bust off the welded nut. Then install a new bolt in the opposite direction of stock, install bracket to bolts. The connects to the adjustable bracket. For the other brackets, those mount under the rear tow hooks with new bolts. Very simple install & adjustments.

ok cool i'm looking it at it in my jegs right now. 3 more things i gotta bug you with. 1 will this clear my exhaust 2 1/4 inch 5 zigen (bend like stock). 2 says only for models with front sway mine STD has none is this a problem? 3 this one is extra dumb but just wanta double check. If i order some aftermarket SPC LCAs (only like 2lbs) will this cause any probs? thanks a bunch!

Re: What next?
Exhaust pipe clearance shouldn't be a problem
![]() Muffler may be an issue, My stock muffler/heat shield rub once in a while. ![]() I'm not sure why it says to use only with stock front sway, but my guess would be the induced oversteer. On a FWD with no front sway & large/tight rear sway, the car can become very unstable at high speeds. Usually resulting in snap oversteer, which takes a highly skilled driver to recover control - most of the time your along for the ride. No front sway & large sway is a good autocross set-up, I suggest learning the new feel of your car before taking some high speed turns. The LCA won't cause any problems but really don't do much besides weight savings & looks. The bushings are better than stock which helps in handling. |
