2000 Rear end

Where's a good place to look into pricing on a 2000 camaro 4.10:1 6 bolt?

personally I would look into a nine inch... Alot more gearing options and it will be cheaper and A nine inch will handle anything you throw at it.

6 bolt????? does such a thing exist??? and a 9 inch is an easy way out, 12 bolt just as strong (arguably) and still keeps the car all GM

Re: 2000 Rear end

I don't know his car.. this is stuff he told me to ask you guys, but his car is stock, so I'm assuming that you're right with the 12 bolt thing. I just need to know a good brand to go with and a good place to buy. For some reason racers have a thing with porn, and all the rearend sites I go to have a giant rear end attatched to a girl. Lol.. But seriously. Is there a good place to look? I've checked out summit racing, but haven't found much.

12 is not as srong as a nine inch and you would pay twice maybe even 3 times the ammount of money. All the people who run big time use a nine inch or a nine inch design mroso or strange makes a nice nine inch for real cheap that bolts directly into a 3rd gen. We used the strange unit on my uncles Turbo Trans Am. But look at strange engineering or mroso. They make 12 bolt stuff as well

Re: 2000 Rear end

well, the 9in vs 12 bolt has been raging for quite a long time hypsi, and from what ive seen the 9 in if it is stronger, is just barely stonger, not enogh to matter on the street, and why you would think the 12 bolt is more expencive i dont know, the 9inchers are in so much demand that they are the ones that are expencive. the 12 bolt is like the econo priced of the two.
