poping

my wife came home and told me that when she puts her foot down on the gas pedal the motor starts poping,it has always run good until this started. It has a 3.3 liter v-6.

Thanks

Unhappy Popping

We have a '92 Grand Voyager with the same 3.3L V6. Started hearing 'poppoing' sounds 2 days ago. Had my girl friend take it easy on acceleration and seems to be working. We also noticed a jerking in the drive trian before the 'popping' started. I suspect it's the trans. I've got an appt. tomorrow morning to have it checked. Will let you know the outcome.

Mike
