Ahhh you guys would know better then I
Ok found a white 96 240sx, in good condition, has 130k miles, the guy is asking $4500.00 soild for it...normaly I would be like ok...but the kicker is it has a salvaged title..the guy showed me a pic of how it looked when he got it just looked like the bumper was a bit dented and the hood knocked up a little..since then it's been repaired...so what do you think $4500.00 for a 130k salvaged 96 s14? oh yeah...he just like replaced the rear underframe brushings or somthing like that.

$4500 for a 130k 96 sounds okay... but here is the deal.. u have to call up the DOT and find out where u have to go to retore your car back to a perfect title instead of salvage. Some fee is regular of course, basically is a inspection. But in my knowledge, most of the time pics needs to be taken during the repair on some critical spot like main body frame and such to prove that the vehicle is safe again on the road...
If I am u, I will try to talk him down to $4000.

According to to dude and looking at the pic there was no frame damage the damage didnt move into/threw the front bumper, he says he didnt even know why it deserved a salvaged title, as far as that goes are you refering to what I have to do to make it a "rebuilt title"? or can it actually be perfect again.

Ahh, what do you think I should offer for a 95 240sx no body damage, not a salvage title heh, 140k miles ...I want to try to figure this out before I make an offer, because if I get it I have to make a 75 mile drive out to it.

I blue booked it as a "what you might expect to get if you sold it your self" or somthing like that , and sure enough a 95 240sx se with 140k miles bluebooks for 3895 or somthin like that.

hmm...i dunno,,,,but anyways, i say take a look at the car.....it might have been abused, or it might have been freeway driven for 140k miles.....base it on your own decision....if u cant....bring a mechanic friend.....look over the car....if u think its good....get it for 4k. 240sx's are nice cars....and gthey are well worth whatever
