which gauge face do you guys think looks better?

I want to buy one of these two and i would like to ask if anyone had seen/used these before and are they hard to install?

Second one is nicer IMO, ive seen people put aftermarket gauge clusters in, its fairly easy to install with not many tools, if u can take some bolts out and be decent with the wiring, you can do it. Definatly takes away from the stock look, i like em.

i had the 2nd 1 for my cavalier...and if you search u might find a picture of my gauges

the 2nd 1 for a cavalier looked eactly the same (they were Reverse Glow Gauges) and the light turned on randomly whenever i was driving...i ended up having to rip the stupid power line to the fuse box out so the stupid gauges would stop turning on randomly...sucks

Yeah i like the first one too, but take a closer look at them, the first one doesn't have the sides on the picture and the second site has, im gonna call them up tonight to see if they just in seperate pieces or they dont have em at all, and if they dont have them, then im gonna buy the one on the second site...

Same same I had the white reverse glow gauges in my 96 cavi.....they would just turn on and off randomly when driving......so i just ripped it all out and went back to stock...anyone know why it does that??

I didn't have that problem when I had reverse glow guages in my 01 Cavy. I wired mine different I guess.

i hooked mine up 2 the fuse box on the side of the door.....it was working fine for 2 months...then all of a sudden i get in my car and it just started randomly turnin on and off....damn thing was messed up

Well, i just bought my white face gauge from www.elgauges.com, was $48, can't wait till it gets here...

For $30 more you should've went to www.blackcatcustom.com and had custom ones made. Also, before you start tearing shit apart, you're gonna want to find a good How To because 00+ gauge clusters are more complicated and more prone to getting screwed up then the 95-99 ones.
