Water spots... causing insanity

I just bought my 99 prelude, its my first Honda and I love it! It snowed the night before I bought it and there were some water spots on the windows. They hosed the snow off of it without drying it and I assumed the spots were the result of this. My last (and only other) car never got water spots on the body, windows or even mirrors. It didn't matter what I did or didn't do, it never got those water spot bastards. I have tried everything I can think of: every glass cleaner (including Honda's), vinegar, steel wool, comet, hard water spot removers, and generally everything I can find in the house. Nothing is working. Those little spots always reappear. I think I am going to lose it! Any other ideas for what I can try before I give $12.95 plus s/h to the Zaino Bros. for some glass polish? HELP!

When they planted new grass here at my apt. They ran the spinklers nonstop on my car every night for weeks and the same thing happend. The only thing that worked for me was a razor blade.

Happy Holidays

Re: Water spots... causing insanity

I would suggest using a glass polish for the windows & a polishings/wax or sealant to remove any from the paint. The water spots are due to the water, not vehicle.
