b18 question

i know this kinda of sounds dumb, but i just want to make sure, could a 99 ls head fit a 2000 ls block? and would it pass emissions? thanx

yes you can put a 99 ls head on a 2000 ls block. but the real question is why. they are the same. and yes that was a dumb question
