speedometer not working? this might help

i have a 2000 caravan and my speedometer stopped working and the transmission wasnt shifting. my wife was all worried about it but i knew it was something minor .all it was were the speed sensors output /input 40$ apiece canadian$$.alot cheaper than the tranny she thought was shot hope this helps someone out here it had 168000kms
