Where's the fuse box?

I've just bought a 1997 Passat 1.9 Turbo Diesel. Unfortunately it came without a handbook. Could somebody please tell me where the fuse box is?

In 1995 model, I hope it is consistent with other years, it is below the steering wheel, under the panel, left side, next to the doorside
