84 D-150 Where's the Fuse Box?

It was just above the brake pedal in my dad's '86.

right under the base of the steering column, just below the bottom of the cluster bezel, dead center, below the column shaft.

There are 4 screws, and it'll come out and flop down....
OR,
There is a clip on the backside that can be released, then it will pull down and come loose, but you will probably never get it to clip back in right if you do it this way!

Yeah that clip, I remember those boxes hanging down on some of the trucks because they couldn't be clipped back in properly. Right beside the pedal is where they would stay.
