This was cross-posted by miataracer in the Honda forums, but I felt it deserved it's own thread here:

What a waste. I know we've all been pissed off for idiotic reasons before, usually centering around one of the following: women, money, thinking we know more than some other guy thinks he knows.
I'm sure this probably boiled down to a case of ego on the part of the Mustang driver. Simple, idiotic, illogical male ego. It's never an excuse to kill over, or even place someone else in true harm's way. It's one thing to punch some guy in the bar because he cracks wise about your girlfriend, but another thing to stab him forty-seven times with a pool cue. I know that isn't the specifics of the case, but I'm willing to bet it's another case of over-inflated machismo of just the same manner.

I agree what a terrible loss...
but from another view, it also makes the legit drivers that aren't F*CKEN CRAZY BASTARDS like that @$#@%@#$!@#!@#!!!!!!!! look really bad when all we're having is honest "safe" fun. But seriously I hope that bastards gets what he deserves. (They should lock him in a car and sent it off a cliff....JAIL ISN'T ENOUGH FOR THAT ASS!!!)

...but now that I think about it more...one thing is a bit unclear to me (Course I didn't really all of the posts). Did the Mustang driver ram him? or did they just get too close together?

Well thats some bad stuff if its true and feel sorry if its true... but i think i have to agree with that bssniffer guy... Nothing in his local news!? come on now! A guy is ramed off the road by another car during a street race. Thats news that the TV sations want to put on TV because its a warning agianst it and poeple will be shocked by it. I also wonder what the guy that got killed did to piss off the mustang driver so bad... Sorry if im cold but its starting to sound like BS.
