Well, any wacko group can demand what they want, really -- hopefully that doesn't mean that the body they're making the demands of will grant it to them. We've got plenty of wacko interest groups in the U.S. claiming to represent their chosen cause -- homosexual, homophobic, religious, political, cultural, etc., and these people are making all kinds of demands all the time -- that doesn't mean they're going to get them. So what can be said about just another group like this one? Congratulations on joining the list of groups that no normal person gives a rat's ass about. As long as Sweden doesn't actually give into these demands, the world will go on, this Muslim interest group will be ignored, and no one will care. If Sweden DOES give into something like this, then shame on them (just like schools that ban the pledge and introduce books about human sexual issues -- gay and straight -- to young children, towns that rename established holidays in order to be PC, watchdog groups that bitch about videogame violence, bible-thumpers that would punish other people because they live a life contrary to "God's" teachings, etc.)

There's a time to stand up for what you feel is right, and a time to shut up when it's pretty clear that the agenda is unreasonable.

Thing is, those are simple minorities with no power. Swedish Muslims (not all) is .. well violent leeches straight from Iran, with no capability to adapt whatsoever, with Anti Racists on their side. They're not taking control of your laws. They want muslim rights for there own. From what it seems, they want some certain percentage of the Shari'a Law be passed to there benefits. It has nothing to do with you or non muslims. You shouldn't be "effected" by this at all. So I dont understand why you whining/complaining about this? If Christians/Jews get work days off for holidays and get paid holiday vacations..why can't we? You have to see our point of view also before you start criticising.


According to that list, they can do that without passing the law all except holiday,friday prayers, interest free. I only have a problem with the Friday prayers. Most jobs here in America would be able to let you go on your lunch break to go for the prayers. MOST not all. That shouldn't be too much of a problem. I haven't experianced that yet.

Nooo. We're here (US) because of better oppurtunities. Im sure its the same in Sweden. You're almost right about the law. Most Islamic countries hardly run the Shari'a Law. Most of Islamic Gov't officials are hypocrites, escpecially Saudi and Jordan. Iran is probably the most closest to 100% Shari'a Law. Some escape from oppressive regimes.
