98 accord auto door lock problem

Last week I noticed that my automatic door locks on my 98 Accord LX worked for all doors except the driver side door....I had to manually push the lock down to get it to lock...

Any ideas what could be causing this?
Any help greatly appreciated....

try resetting the multiplex system on the car.

set the intermitant wiper time to the middle position
turn the key on/off/on without starting the car

then you just try the doorlocks and bamm it works fine!! the windows worked also whoohooo!!! simple as 1-2-3!!!

I have had the exact same problem:
1. only left side driver and passenger windows can be opened/closed from the driver side.
2. All power door lock dead.
3. Remote controller only opens the driver's door (but won't lock)

jweller's solution solved all problems. Thanks a lot!!!
