well I've seen street legal 5.0's run mid 10's.
I've also seen them run mid 13's so it all depends.
and blow off valves are for engine safety, not speed.

I have seen many cars without BOV's, naturally they make back pressure, slowing the turbine = Less HP at the wheels.
its just sometimes i see kits without BOV's or bypass valves.

why would you need two BOV's with one turbo anyway?

To be cool.

I would assume one high quality BOV would do it.

not having a BOV on a turbo kit, like you said, is a safety issue. you can seriously damage the turbo.

just b/c the kit doesn't have it doesn't mean you don't need it.

Re: Nissan 240Sx(SR20DET)S-13 Style VS 89 Mustang 5.0

well, what's the power of the 240?
a 5.0 had 225hp w/ 300lbft stock, and for less than $500 this can be upgraded to about 250w/320lbft.
I'm not going to get into technical aspects of having more torque vs/hp, but the 240 has less.

an sr20det makes in the neighbor hood of 250hp...

this one will come down to power to weight...

but if you throw the same 500 dollars at the sr20, you'll be making far more hp, closer to 300hp...
