.

Thats great man good run, I only have a best of 10.73 in the truck (1/8th mile). Was definately feeling dirt slow compared to everything else at the track, but hey I owned the footbrake class and got $200 bucks so I ain't complaining .

I'd really like to run the Firebird one time at the track, but I'm afraid it would stall on me when trying to get on the line......we're not getting along very well at the moment....

Well all the tracks by me are at elevation (Not good for a N/A car). My best N/A is a 14 flat at 102 mph at LACR (Elevation 2700 ft. Density altitude is about 4-5000 ft. though). On the juice I ran a 13.1 sec. 1/4 mile at 113 mph. It was one of my great 2.3 sec. 60' times. Gosh I suck. I guess LS1's are somewhat hard to launch.

I have a best run of 14.6 @ 98 MPH in the 89 GTC, the 90 GTC doesn't run but I hope to have her capable of 11s or 10s, and I don't want to know what the TSi runs.

Re: Time Slips

I got a 13.6 at 102 mph with a 2.1 60 ft' time. I'm hoping to break into the 12's this spring with some new mods.

I have a good 70 of the more so.

The stats on them are listed here:
http://jekylandhyde.madpowaz.com/slips.htm

The best runs have the actual slip scanned in if you would like to see it.

Re: Time Slips

your car is so damn awesome...

i've got 60+ slips... and it's cool to look at the progression from bone stock slow car, to 2 seconds faster (but still slow) car...

with an old motor in my lude, i ran low 17's stock, and now i'm 15.89...
i think when i hit the track again, without nitrous (never ran nitrous on the track), i should be low 15's.
with nitrous, i should be in the 14's...
not like that's quick, but for me, in my car, it is...

Yeah, I live my life a 1/4 mile at a time and for that ten seconds, I'm free.

Honestly though, I'll take it to the track next season. I am sure it will pull at least 20s.

Attached to a tow truck....

Thanks, if that was directed at me
... and I agree 100%, seeing the progression is a wonderful thing. If you check out my slips page, I have notes in the left margin as to what exactly I changed as I went along to get my improvements.
